A night away to unwind, de-stress and refocus the mind.

The Active Connections breakaway programme offers an alternative option. It gives young people a place and, more importantly, the time and space to reflect on their personal situations.

Breakaways are a fun and safe experience to help de-stress. This time away also gives parents and foster parents time to focus on self-care. Self-care keeps the body and mind nourished. Breakaways are short, normally 24-48- hours..

Active Connections pick up the young person at their home and bring them to their mini holiday location.

During the breakaway young people engage in a range of activities, whether it adrenaline pumping or watching a movie the choice is theirs.

In the summer we camp out under the stars and in winter we move indoors.
